This is a belief I have held for many years — and it is the very starting point of Boardwalk Capital.
For more than 35 years, I battled on the front lines of international finance, experiencing firsthand the scale of global markets and the pace of change. Over those years, Japan's companies, technology and talent — once called the strongest in the world — barely grew. From a macro view, the policies of the government and the Bank of Japan are already nearing their limits.
Yet the companies, services and people we work with are growing at a remarkable pace — many expanding revenue, profit and headcount by 50–100% or more every year.
To create even more of these challengers, we are fully committed to supporting them through our three businesses: advisory, incubation and angel investment.
